No. 4! Real Madrid adds left back Álvaro Ferrandis
【Now Sports】Real Madrid continues to strengthen in the transfer market, reportedly signing Spanish left-back Álvaro Fernández from Benfica for 50 million euros.
The 22-year-old player is actually "returning to his old club" - he was born in Real Madrid's youth training in his early years, moved to Manchester United in 2020, and was named Manchester United's U23 best player. In 2023, he joined Benfica in the form of "rent first and then buy", and played 62 games for the team, contributing 5 goals, showing positive and aggressive performance.
Real Madrid officially announced: "The club has reached an agreement with Benfica on the transfer of Álvaro Fernández, and he will play for Real Madrid until June 30, 2031."
